Community in Conversation: What should we expect from our elected leaders?

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Price Hill

Description

Join us for a community conversation where all voices matter in a safe and respectful environment. Ahead of the Stern Lecture this fall featuring renowned historian Doris Kearns Goodwin and her seventh book Leadership in Turbulent times, this community conversation will explore questions raised in the book. Are leaders born or made? Where does ambition come from? How does adversity affect the growth of leadership?

Speakers Key Beck and Galen Gordon will join the conversation facilitated and moderated by Action Tank. Action Tank is a nonpartisan think tank that partners with artists and community to research and promote new public policy solutions at the local government level.

This event is a part of a series of conversations the library will be facilitating with the Action Tank leading up to the Mary S. Stern Lecture with Doris Kearns Goodwin, Tuesday October 5th, at 7 p.m. at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Tickets go on sale soon for the Mary S. Stern Lecture. The Stern Lecture is made possible through an endowment to The Library Foundation of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
