Join the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library for the annual Mary S. Stern Lecture featuring Presidential Historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin at the Aronoff Center.
The talk features themes found in Doris Kearns Goodwin’s seventh book “Leadership in Turbulent Times.” The book focuses on presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson and shows how they first recognized their own leadership qualities, and how others recognized these same qualities. It seeks to answer questions such as “Are leaders born or made?” “Where does ambition come from?” and “Does the man make the times or do the times make the man?”
Book signing with Mrs. Goodwin to follow.
Tickets only $5. On sale soon.
