Events › REDress Display

To raise awareness of the growing number of missing and murdered Indigenous women and relatives, CHPL is presenting the REDress Display at select CHPL branch libraries, in partnership with Urban Native Collective through May 24, 2024.

The REDress Display originated in 2011 through the work of Métis artist Jaime Black. Black created the original display as a traveling installation with masses of red dresses acquired through community donations. Read more about this display on the Library's blog.
