ProjectArt Classes (Ages 8-18)

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Avondale

Description

ProjectArt’s free classes run from October - May at the Avondale Branch Library! Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's personal artistic practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative and cultivate a love of learning.

Materials are provided for all students ages 8-18. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year. Registration is required in advance, and space is limited. All youth MUST be registered for the October to May session at ProjectArt Cincinnati - AfterSchool HQ in order to participate.

ProjectArt classes will be conducted by Daryl Myntia Daniels. She is a Cincinnati-based visual artist and educator whose work celebrates Black beauty, resilience, and spiritual connection. As an educator, she fosters creativity and empowerment, guiding students to explore their identities and the world around them through art. Her practice is deeply rooted in intentionality, aiming to inspire pride, joy, and connection in every piece and lesson she shares.
