You will learn the 10 most important things you need to know about finding grants, including:

· Who funds nonprofits and what are their motivations.

· What do funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding.

· How do you identify potential funders and make the first approach. 

This class is brought to you in partnership with Candid, a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits serve their communities. As a Candid community member, we offer Candid’s key tools including GuideStar and Foundation Directory. Our patrons can access GuideStar to research local nonprofits to support and to find services. Nonprofits seeking funding can also access Foundation Directory to find and connect with funders.
