Join us for a community book discussion of The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. This 3 part series is presented in partnership with Madeira City Schools. Please register for each session, space is limited.

Tuesday, April 1: Why are Kids & Teens so Anxious and Depressed?

This conversation will focus on Part 1 and Part 2 of the book and what Haidt calls the “Surge of Suffering.”

Tuesday, April 15: The Great Rewiring: How Childhood Has Changed

This conversation will focus on Part 3 of the book and what Haidt sites as the four “foundational harms” of wide-spread, constant cell phone use.

Tuesday, April 29: Collective Action for a Healthier Childhood

This conversation will focus on Part 4 of the book and what parents, schools, governments, and tech companies can do to protect kids and teens.
