Join us for the Kokeshi Dolls Come Alive Workshops! Dive into the rich heritage of kokeshi dolls, learn about their significance, and participate in fun, hands-on activities designed for all ages.

Immerse yourself in the traditional Japanese art of Kamishibai, or paper theater. Watch as the story of The Little Kokeshi comes to life through visual storytelling combined with engaging narration. This unique performance method captures the essence of Japanese culture and provides an unforgettable experience for the audience. Then, get creative with our hands-on Make & Take workshops where you can craft your own kokeshi-inspired artwork. Participants will have the opportunity to create both 2-D and 3-D kokeshi dolls, guided by our expert instructors. All materials will be provided, making it a perfect family activity.
