Description

Join the Pleasant Ridge Branch Library and Kennedy Heights Community Council at one of our neighborhood Parks to learn all about the Nature in Our Neighborhood! Each month we will focus on a unique quality of nature while also discussing any plants, insects, animals, and everything else we come across.

We will hold events at the Pleasant Ridge Branch, Kennedy Heights Park, Drake Park, or French Park. Dress for the weather.

Registration recommended.

April 12th – Kennedy Heights Park – Spring Forest – 2:30 p.m.

May 10th – Kennedy Heights Park– Plants & Cicadas – 2:30 p.m.

June 5th - Drake Park - Magical Fireflies - 7:00 p.m.

July 12th - Kennedy Heights Park - Summer Forest - 11:00 a.m.

August 9th - French Park - Creeks w/ Hamilton County Conservation District - 11:00 a.m.

September 13th - French Park - Prairies - 11:00 a.m.

October 11th - Kennedy Heights Park - Autumn Forest - 2:30 p.m.

November 8th - Kennedy Heights Park - After Dark - 7:00 p.m.

December 13th - Kennedy Heights Park - End of Year - 2:30 p.m.

At our end of year event in 2024 a great horned owl dropped in.  What will happen this year?   Plus - mulled cider!
