The FDIC Money Smart for Small Business program introduces participants to the basics of building a business and connects them to resources. “Business Basics: Where to Start” is a 4-week series (a 1.5-hour session per week) that provides participants with the tools to determine if entrepreneurship is a right fit for you and how to start planning your business.
It is strongly encouraged that you choose to attend all sessions, but you can choose to come to one session or any combination of sessions.
This series will cover the following Topics:
Week 1 – January 12: “Is Owning a Business a Good Fit for you? – Know Your Strengths”
Week 2 – January 26: “Organizational Types – Pros and Cons of Business Structures”
Week 3 – February 2: “Planning for a Healthy Business Start-Up: From Plan to Reality”
Week 4 – February 9: “Time Management – Tips to Make You More Efficient”
