Description

The FDIC Money Smart for Small Business program introduces participants to the basics of building a business and connects them to resources. “Business Basics: Risk, Insurance & Credit” is a 4-week series (a 1.5-hour session per week) that provides participants with managing business risk through the lens of awareness, insurance, business credit and taxes.

It is strongly encouraged that you choose to attend all sessions, but you can choose to come to one session or any combination of sessions. 

This series will cover the following Topics:

Week 1 – March 18: “Risk Management: Planning for What You Can and Cannot Control”

Week 2 – March 25: “Insurance: Choices for Business”

Week 3 – April 1: “Strong Business Credit: Demystified”

Week 4 – April 8: “Tax Planning and Reporting: Understanding Taxes and Your Business”
