This presentation highlights pioneering families such as the Shermans, Letchers, Spauldings, Deans, and others who laid the foundation for a vibrant community. Presented by Cincinnati native, Kamia Jackson. Kamia Jackson is the great-granddaughter of Samuel and Lena Spaulding who settled in the village of Madeira around 1905, becoming pioneers among its early African American residents.
