Join the Clifton Library and Crunchy Leaves Sustainability Collaborative to learn about recycling options in Cincinnati! We will start with a brief info session about what can be recycled through Rumpke and what can be dropped off at Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub. After this, we’ll work together to sort our recyclables and Crunchy Leaves volunteers will drop them off at the Hub.

Bring up to one medium-sized bag of clean and dry items to sort for recycling. To prepare ahead of time, use these links to determine what Rumpke takes for recycling and what can be taken to Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub. We will help each other answer questions and learn together!

Unfortunately, we are not able to take items that aren’t clean and dry. Also, we will not accept the following items at this event, but they can be taken directly to the Hub: large pieces of styrofoam or metal, items for reuse, or fee-based items for recycling. Participants will be responsible for taking home any dirty items and items that aren’t recyclable. Following these guidelines will make things easier for staff and volunteers at the library and the Hub!
