Deer Park Branch Library and Indie Lens Pop Up are proud to host a viewing with conversation to follow.  

The Tallest Dwarf follows filmmaker Julie Forrest Wyman as she searches for her place in the little people community and unpacks rumors of dwarfism in her own family. Through intimate stories, creative collaborations, and archival history, the film delves into identity and medicine, asking whether society should change people or the structures that limit them.

The film centers the perspectives of the Little People community, highlighting the importance of being able to participate directly in the ways one is framed and seen by others. And it also invites general audiences into new ways of seeing, including appreciating the beauty and power of different types of bodies.
