Pentateuch in Paleo-Hebrew Script is the Torah, also known as the Five Books of Moses of the Bible, written in an ancient Hebrew script. The biblical text is based on the Leningrad Codex and typeset in a Paleo-Hebrew script (כתב עברי) derived from First Temple archaeological inscriptions discovered in Jerusalem and other sites in Israel.
This volume is a great resource for studying the Bible and learning to read Paleo-Hebrew. Literacy in Paleo-Hebrew can be useful for deciphering First Temple archaeological inscriptions and some Second Temple coins, seals and Dead Sea scroll manuscripts. According to some rabbinic views, "the Torah was initially given to Israel in Paleo-Hebrew" (Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 21b). This edition of the Pentateuch in Paleo-Hebrew Script includes a table for learning Paleo-Hebrew letters and is divided by standard Parsha and chapter breaks.
